CLEANSERS AND TONERS

Cleansers are historically the workhorses of our daily skincare routines, tirelessly purifying our skin and prepping it for the rest of our regimen. We recommend facial cleansing twice a day. Using a face wash morning and evening will remove makeup, draw out impurities and excess oil and purify delicate skin. If you have especially dry skin, a non-drying cleanser can help.

When once is not enough (think extra-heavy makeup, or compromised air quality), double cleansing is a two-step technique that further purifies your skin. How to double cleanse is a simple process: begin with a makeup remover like The Cool Micellar Water and follow with your chosen La Mer foam, gel or lotion cleanser. Micellar Cleanser: A light and fresh solution, The Cool Micellar Cleanser is a cleanser for dry skin as well as oily and balanced types that sweeps away makeup in one pristine step without water. The result: refreshed, deeply cleansed skin. To use, moisten a cotton pad and gently sweep over face, neck and eyes without rubbing. Repeat until cotton pad comes away clean. There is no need to rinse.
